What role/roles did you have on The Walking Dead?
An extra living in Woodbury and the Prison.
Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel prior to your role?
Never heard of it before I worked, except that I thought it was probably a typical horror show. I became a fan after working it and watching an AMC marathon.
Did your character have a name/backstory that was not shown/cut? If not did you make one up for yourself.
Season 4 episode 3 the script called me The Shivering Man. Episode 405 called me The Coughing Man. Otherwise, I was just another extra.
Were there any scenes that you were in that didn't make it post-production? If so, what happened in them?
The Wiki explains the last episode I worked where the scene was changed and I didn't appear, but the character is assumed dead.
What was the atmosphere like on set, on such a dramatic show?
Very family friendly.
How many episodes did you appear in?
I don't know. It's on Wiki, but I never counted.
What was it like working on the show for 2 seasons?
Fun. Sometimes exhausting, but great memories.
How did you get your role on the show?
Extras casting.
Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?
When running from the prison to the bus to escape with my arm in a splint, my pants were falling off. It was awkward to run and try to hold them up.
What was the best thing about working on The Walking Dead?
Hard to say, but probably being part of a hugely popular show and the camaraderie on set. Everyone was aware that we were involved in something very special.
