Don Elmore portrayed Ross, a member of Martinez's Group.

What role/roles have you had in The Walking Dead?
Don 1

I'm Ross. I was a chopper pilot in the US Army. I love my wife and my boys. I want nothing more than to survive. I thought this guy was the way in. Well, I was wrong.

How did you get the role?

I was one of 11,000 people that put in for the part. They liked my look better.

Can you confirm your character's fate?

No. I'm still not too sure. The show is funny that way. Scott and David didn't even know till about three weeks before we did that scene. I liked his role. Wish they keep him.

Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel prior to your role?

No. I didn't know what I was getting myself into.

What is the atmosphere like on the set of such a serious, dramatic show?

Absolutely great! The best cast and crew. When the cameras are on, it's back to business.

In a zombie apocalypse, which character would you be most like from The Walking Dead?

I have seen it now. Before I was cast, I didn't. To answer your question...It would be Dale (Jeffery Demunn).

Don 2
Was there anymore to the scenes that didn't make it past post-production with you in them?

There is a lot that didn't make it in. 42 minutes doesn't give you all the time you want.

Don 4

Are there any specific, notable scenes?

They might use them in flash backs, so I don't want to say too much.

Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?

Yeah. Some of them will be on AMC's the Making of Season 4.

What was the best thing about working on The Walking Dead?

Getting to know the cast and crew. I haven't worked with these guys before. Working under Andy , Scott, David and the rest of the cast is a good learning curve. And blowing stuff up! When you're doing a scene like that, it keeps your heart pumping.

Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can reveal?

Not that I can reveal.

Thank you again on behalf of the entire wiki! We appreciate it very much!
