Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel prior to your role?
Yes I watched the first 3 episodes and read some of the comic book
Who are your favourite characters?
Daryl (Norman Reedus), Merle (Micheal Rooker), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Summer (Addy Miller)
What is the atmosphere like on the set of such a serious, dramatic show?
It's actually really layed back, you would think since every scene on the show characters are dying or have to show anger and fear that it would be uncomfortable on set. But it's complete opposite. A lot of fun
Did Jorge have a backstory which was not shown/cut? If not, did you create one for yourself?
There was no back story given for my character, so yes I guess you can say I created one. Back home where I'm from I know a lot of vato gangsters who act talk and live that kind of life style. So I kept them in mind for this character
Was there anymore to the scenes that didn't make it past post-production with you in them?
I wish there was, but no there wasn't.
Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?
Meeting Norman Reedus was crazy! A week before I went to Atlanta or even heard I was going to be on the show. I was watching his movie the "Boondocks Saints" one of my favorite movies and when I got to shoot my first scene he was there on set smoking a cigarette. I couldn't tell right off at first if that was really him but then I introduced myself and it was! We ended up drinking tequila later at a bar and talking about acting and the show. Great experience! Really cool dude
Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can reveal?
Not at the moment im not. Just moved out to L.A. to try and get more work for myself.
